The Server Stamp is an electronic certificate used for signing electronic documents such as invoices or payslips on behalf of a legal entity (company, company department, brand etc.)
Adding the server stamp can also act as an acknowledgement of receipt of a document.
(According to the RGS, only a natural person may sign electronically. The term “stamp” is therefore used for a server, equivalent to the signature function.)
The server stamp certificate is presented in software form or on a physical cryptographic medium in a HSM unit.
CertEurope can host the legal entity certificate on its own server in a cryptographic module for maximum security.
The CertEurope legal entity certificate can also be provided and hosted on the company’s own server.
CertEurope offers Server Stamps meeting the RGS 1-star security level and are recognised natively by the Adobe suite.
